The interview was called Petronas Youngstars Day. Believe me, Petronas organise their event so perfectly that you can see Petronas banners everywhere in the Uni. They even provide us food too! Assalamualaikum and hello guys! Today I would like to share my experiences on attending an interview to apply for Yayasan Tenaga Nasional Scholarship (YTN). The interview was held in conjunction of Sabah and Sarawak Pre-Intake for 2016. The interview sessions took place in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, and another city in Sarawak (hehe, I didn't quite remember the exact place). In Tawau, there were only 5 interviewees, and we were gathered in Marco Polo Hotel, Tawau. There were two MRSM students and three SBP students. This interview took place in January 2016, but the result will be announced in May 2016. Phewww.. Such a long wait.. A simple briefing about YTN Scholarship. This scholarship is responsibly hold under the company of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, a company which manages electricity supply in Malaysia. Joining debate was so exciting for me since I love to generate ideas and argues with other people. I learned debate since I was in Form 1, and the teacher who taught me was Sir Gilbert Wong Kea Kiat (he is now a Deputy Principal in MRSM Tun Abdul Razak, Pekan, Pahang. Although I learned debate earlier, I started to represent my college since I was Form 4 (due to several reasons, in which I don't want to elaborate :P). Assalamualaikum and hello guys ! This time I wanna share my experience regarding an interview to join MADPP Program. First of all, I would like to introduce a little bit about MADPP. It's an abbreviation for MARA American Degree Preparatory Program, which is obviously under MARA. In MADPP, students will undertake a few months preparatory in KKTM Ledang, before flying off to USA. MADPP students are free to pursue any field of study within Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), except for Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Accountancy, Architecture and Actuarial Science. So, the story begins like this.. For MADPP Interview, it was held in 3 places, which are KKTM Ledang, somewhere in Sarawak and Pejabat MARA Negeri Sabah. The interview sessions were held in December 2015, while we were waiting nervously for our SPM result haha. Since I am Sabahan, I attended my interview in Sabah, for sure. Today I would like to share my experience of being one of the candidates of Yayasan Khazanah Scholarship, in which in the end of this entry, I will tell you either I was successfully qualified or not. Back to my experience, I was actually chosen by our college counselor to apply for this scholarship by using our Trial SPM Result. I was so glad since one of my friend, Johannes Low Jun Wei also fulfilled the requirements to apply for this prestigious scholarship. So, it was two of us. Great! I thanked a lot to my teachers and my parents who helped me a lot in facing my first scholarship interview ever in my life.
